IHOP in La Plata is a dependable go-to spot if you’re in the mood for a classic American-style meal served in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. On a Saturday afternoon, the wait time for a table for two was about 20 minutes, which is fairly typical for the weekend rush. Once we were seated, the overall atmosphere was comfortable, but the service left a bit to be desired. Our waiter was polite but very slow to make rounds, and it took quite a while to get refills or check in on our order. When it came time to pay, the checkout process dragged on for nearly 15 minutes, which definitely tested our patience. That said, the food itself was delicious and came out hot and freshly prepared. Our youngest son wanted to go to IHOP for bday. The food is just like every other IHOP out there. The service for a family of five left much to be desired. We were seated promptly BUT weren’t provided with utensils even after the food arrived. We had to get our own. I stuck to water but had to ask for refills. Our server was pleasant just not attentive.

We had IHOP yesterday for dinner and it was great! The food was delicious the server was awesome and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I got an omelet and pancakes and I have to say that was the best omelet I have ever had. And the server did a great job! Definitely will be back!

Nice place to stop and eat. Its busy but there is always a seat available. The place is clean with good food and service.

I don't know who was on the grill Sunday May 25th but my food was the best i ever had there. Appropriate portions, came quickly and was delicious!! I couldnt believe it.
