Idly Express - Suwanee

Every dish I’ve ordered here, from takeout to special event menus, has been exceptional. I recently attended the inaugural Kerala Banana Leaf lunch and the Malleshwaram Bangalore special; both very different from their everyday offerings( which is already great). The flavors not only felt authentic; they honestly tasted like home. It is rare to find such traditional, soul-satisfying cooking. I am eagerly anticipating the opening of their sit-down restaurant. Highly recommended!

Looking forward to ordering more from Idly express, hopefully without any such issues ** Ordered Benne dosa, Mini tiffin with Kesari and Rose milk ***Couldn’t really enjoy the meal from Idly express which I’ve been really looking forward to because of one staff member’s mistake!*** Called the restaurant prior to ordering and asked if they could NOT add any spice paste to Benne dosa for my baby and a staff agreed(Asked for his name so I can speak to him again after ordering). Made the order and called the restaurant again, spoke to the same person and told my name, items in my order and asked him again to make sure that they DON’T add any Spice paste to Benne dosa and he confirmed. Authentic, flavorful food away from home. I’ve been a regular here and have never been disappointed. A go-to spot in Suwanee whenever I’m craving simple, wholesome, and authentic food. Highly recommend if you want a menu that stays true to classic South Indian comfort food.

It’s the perfect spot for "clean" South Indian food that doesn't feel heavy or greasy. It’s particularly great for those who miss the authentic taste of Chennai tiffin centers. I recently enjoyed full thali lunch, amazing. highly recommend.
