Ichiban | Japanese Steakhouse

Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse in Summersville is a great place if you’re craving Japanese food. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the menu offers a nice variety of hibachi and sushi options. The food is prepared fresh, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Portions are generous, and everything we ordered was flavorful and well-presented. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, which makes the dining experience even better. Overall, it’s a solid spot for lunch or dinner, whether you’re dining with family, friends, or celebrating a special occasion.

Unfortunately just bland. Even the other wasabi didn't seem to have much kick to it. The gyoza seemed like they were probably cooked from frozen. The lunch prices are good and I liked the salad dressing, but the sushi wasn't flavorful, even though two of the rolls had eel sauce.

A Special Tradition on Every Trip! Ichiban has become a special part of our road trips from Canada to Florida ; we look forward to stopping here every time. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The staff are so welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. They also offer great gluten-free options, which means everyone in our family can enjoy a delicious meal together. It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden gem along the way. 😁

I have been coming here for the last 5-6 years, and every time I love it! All of the staff seems very nice, they are quick and get to the point, and have never once been rude or seemed rude. I have gotten take out, and have dinned in, every time the food no matter what I have gotten is AMAZING! If you are passing though or in the mood for quality Japanese food for a lower price tag, show them some love!

It really was all right. We ordered sushi, some appetizers and another plate that, we asked the server if that plate came fried, she said yes, but at the end she just brought us noddles with beef.
