Hutto Public Library

I take my daughter here almost every week to reup on bedtime books. The staff is awesome, the building is always very clean and well maintained. The kids section in particular is great. We really enjoy this place and have had nothing but great experiences

We recently had the joy of joining the Hutto Public Library’s mobile library and book giveaway event — and it was truly wonderful! My kids absolutely loved it. The cozy reading environment, friendly staff, and fun storytelling made it a magical experience. The setup inside the mobile library was creative and welcoming, with colorful decorations and comfy bean bags. It was heartwarming to see my child so engaged and happy while listening to a story. Thank you, Hutto Public Library, for promoting literacy and bringing such joy to our community. 💛📚

Small library with really kind staff and clean facilities. Nice study areas. You cannot go two steps without having a certain social agenda shoved in your face. The most disturbing was in the "tween" section. Pushing any agenda in a public, tax-payer funded facility is out of line. Probably won't rush to return back because of this.

Librarians are always helpful and knowledgeable. It is a good collection. If you want something they don't have one can request through interlibrary loan or get audible source.

Love this library, and the librarians here are so kind! I have been going with my niece since she was around 1.5, and she's turning 4 soon. The littlest kid area is small, but has always held enough to keep her busy, and they have a larger than expected selection of board books. We are just now starting to get into more paper books, and she loves to explore the area for older kids (6-12) and talk about the books she sees. (So so many of the popular series of today, and many of the classics I remember growing up with) The online portal is easy, setting books up to reserve is quick, and the self checkout is very appreciated! Love having this so close by when we don't have the time to drive into Round Rock!
