Personally, I really liked this place. The food is quite solid, but the 5 star really comes from the experience here. It's super homey. The owner (the lady) sat with us and talked to us and all the other diners, making jokes and just generally having a good time. She was very cool. The ambiance is so very nice, very Hungarian. Now the food: I tried the goulash, Lagos, chicken soup, chicken paprikas, and a cherry strudel. Most of the food was excellent. Both the soups were outstanding. Well seasoned. The chicken soup was filled with interesting noodles and was very warm, and the goulash had tender meat and flavorful broth. The langos was pretty interesting and well made too, but not my favorite. The bar/restraunt gave off small first generation owned business in all the right ways. The inside was decorated with many Hungarian items and gave off a sense of pride and somewhat eclectic flair. It was not super fancy, but the level of decor felt appropriate for a place like this, and felt very comfortable. The staff were milling about and talking in their native language almost like the restaurant was home, which again was totally appropriate and actually nice for a place this. The older waitress was very nice, checked in on us frequently, and was very relaxed about our toddler running around for a little bit at the end. There was another younger woman helping who was also very nice and certainly added a great deal of elegance and aesthetics to the place. We are not experts on

I really, really, wanted to give an amazing review, but unfortunately we had a bad experience. When we arrived, the waitress was very helpful and explained the menu. We ordered our appetizers and shortly after ordered our main entrées. Our appetizers never came out, which was odd because one was bread and butter, but we figured it was a busy night for them. After some time, our entrees came out. We expressed to the other waitress that we never recieved our apps, and she promptly went to the kitchen to have them make them for us. Annoying, but not the end of the world. For some reason after this, the first waitress was ignoring us, going to every table but ours. When the apps finally came, there was a big issue with the cheese on the Langos. The younger waitress downplayed the issue, which
