They charged me $20 for ackee, saltfish and 2 dunmplings… which I just find extremely high for the portion that i got. There were mad bones, and it was mid. So, i can’t say the taste justified either the quantity or quality. The lady and place was nice, i just would’nt come back again.
I been going to this place since I was in Highschool. It my number 1# place to get me some delicious Jamaican food. This is just my opinion tho.
The portion was small, basic, no vegetables. The woman that was serving was rude on the phone, when entering the store she didn’t greet anyone and had an attitude. Don’t waste your time or money. Lousy food and service.
No star restaurant. Nasty tasting dirty food. The worst Jamaican food in NYC
I ordered oxtail beans and rice it was not bad for 18 dollars I tip so it was 20 to go and in comparison to a home cook version it third in line but great customer service atmosphere could use an update / but keep in mind it's a local business support if in the area as experiences may be subject to schedule & times ⏲️
