Excellent Hunan food. Efficient service. Spartan tables and chairs. Quite cold in the winter. Limited selection of teas. Incredible hot and sour soup, some of the best I've had. Excellent lamb dishes. Quick but impersonal service.

If you like spicy food, you must go here! Always parking available which is helpful. A lot of people, so the service was a little slow. Great authentic Hunan style in Sacramento area. Really enjoy the large gallon size of water container at the table you get because you will feel the spice at some point. I recommend getting the eggplant with green beans ($14.95) since it very fresh, cooked nicely, not spicy at all. The spicy flounder fish ($24.95) is indeed SPICY, will numb your mouth but does go away, the sauce does contain a lot of veggie options such as bean sprouts, wood ear mushroom, king oysters which is worth it for portion size and ingredients in the meal. Dan Dan noodles ($12.95) were alright, just mixed in with diced pickled mustard greens. Overall, the food was spicy and fresh.

Delicious and very authentic food that won't make you thirsty and our clothes and hair never smelled like Chinese kitchen after having dined here several times. We much prefer it over the very popular Yang Kee. Very easy parking.

The best Chinese food in Davis. Been here a few times and compared to the many other spots in town, this one is far ahead. Every dish has flavors. Our favorites are the eggplant and string beans, I’m not even an eggplant person but here it’s amazing. We also enjoy the chow mein with beef, it’s not your typical low-flavor chow mein, the noodles are nicely coated and the perfect brown and the little jalapeno pieces give it an extra kick. Last the fried egg with pork ribs, the fried egg sort of an omelet like egg but far more fried and filled with flavor. I’m personally not the type to order egg at any type of restaurant but here it’s a must, the ribs come in a little broth to compliment the ribs. Very authentic and I agree with most of comments when they say this is probably the best hunan cuisine around! To those saying that the food is too Spicy, are you ok? Why did you come to a Hunan restaurant in the first place?
