Hunan Garden

We got some dinner take out from Hunan Garden recently. Service was fast and friendly with our food being ready in 20 minutes. It's a little pricey here. This is just a small takeout place with a couple small tables. The food was average, a little dry and I had hoped for more sauce. Unfortunately, if you want extra sauce it's $3! I expected my dish to taste different I ordered the beef in hot garlic sauce but it wasn't garlicky and was super sugary, salty and sweet. The Gen Tsos chicken was overcooked and tough. I enjoyed that they have a large menu and some healthier items like brown rice. The soups were pretty good I got the hot and sour (as seen in the photo), which was packed full of tofu, egg, mushrooms, etc. The wonton soup was a little over-salted but the wontons had a nice flavor a

Good spot for a quick carryout lunch. I had the happy family lunch special and thought it was a good deal. The main dish was very good, however I wasn't a big fan of the egg roll. I would go back for the Happy Family lunch special again, but would probably choose something different then the egg roll as my side item

This is my boyfriend's favorite local Chinese but this was my first time trying it. We were super hungry so we ordered way too much food for take out. We got the spicy pickled Chinese cabbage (which was the most amazing thing ever), combo Singapore rice noodles (would also highly recommend), chicken egg foo young (worth trying the dish of you've never had it), and the pineapple chicken (which was just alright). We had enough for both of us to have plenty of leftovers the next day too. Was definitely satisfied with our meal and I would definitely go back.

Extremely disappointed with my recent visit. This was my second time since the change in ownership, and it will certainly be my last. The prices are exorbitant, portions have shrunk, and notably missing are the staple items like egg rolls and soup for the lunch special. The overall food quality and atmosphere have taken a noticeable downturn.

Unfortunately the food was absolutely disgusting. Everything that we ordered was stale and disgusting. The dumplings were like chewing gum. The lo mein was like chewing rubber. The egg rolls were frozen and then deep fried. None of the food was fresh. Never again will we waste our money. Absolutely disgusting. Go else where.
