Uncle Joe’s Main Street Market and Deli

Awesome local spot, both my wife and I loved our sandwiches. The owners/chefs clearly really thought out their ingredients and put together some incredible options. We tried the “Nonnino” and the “Big Al” and I can’t say enough good things, excited for my next trip to Sykesville to try something else!

New deli opened up down the street from me so decided to give it a shot. I had a little sticker shock at first, I’ll admit. But the sandwich, I got the Sully, was pretty hefty. More importantly it tasted great. The bread was excellent, too. I’m usually a hot sandwich guy myself, but this was phenomenal. In addition to sandwiches there’s a little market with packaged goods as well as some produce. Pretty convenient if you need a few items, putting together a charcuterie board, etc. and don’t need to run up to the full grocery stores in Eldersburg. Will definitely be back to try more sandwiches.

This place is legit! In my opinion it has vaulted itself to the best sandwich shop in town. Quality, creative combinations for the sandwiches, my favorite being the Big Al. The higher prices are justified by the size of the sandwiches. Plus it has a market with both local goods and unique finds. Recommend!

We sat outside atThe Vine on Main listening to music last night and stopped in this cute little sub shop to grab a bite to eat. The sandwiches are delicious! They are served on focaccias bread are so flavorful! They also have a great market with lots of local meats, cheese and a variety of other things. What a great addition to Sykesville!

Great little addition to Main Street. The sandwiches are large and packed with flavor. I have visited twice and both times one sandwich has been enough to share for two adults. Between the size, bread and uniqueness of flavors I think the sandwiches are worth the cost. My favorite so far has been the Great Aunt Susie and I think that's the one I'll stick with.
