If I could give zero stars, I would. Hunan Garden on Fischer Blvd cannot get an order right to save their lives. This isn’t a one-time mistake — it’s a pattern. The most ridiculous part? They charge an additional $2.75 for PLAIN FRIED RICE. Yes, you read that correctly. Removing the egg, pork, and vegetables somehow costs more, despite them using fewer ingredients. And even after paying the upcharge, they still don’t give you what you ordered. When you call to complain, they offer the classic “credit for next time.” Spoiler alert: there is no credit. This has happened before, and when you call back to use it, the girl answering the phone suddenly “can’t find any record” of it. Convenient. Best Chinese food in Toms River, hands down. The General Tso’s chicken and egg rolls are amazing — super fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out fast. If you’re craving Chinese, this is the spot.

I'm from NYC traveling to the shore for some relaxation. I tried this place with my partner the staff is highly aware of customer service which is key to bringing back business she was always on top of the dishes and water and nice . The food was great fresh and tasty not greasy and so much of it for a fair almost not believeble price. Like I said I'm from nyc I know outrageous prices and fair ones and crappy Chinese to good Chinese... Definitely come here to eat and enjoy pretty scenary and tasty food.

It's been awhile since I was here because the last time I was there there prices had gone up and I feel the quality of the food went down. Stopped in today to give it another try but the find out the prices had gone up again with no change to the food. They also charge for every house sauce and noodles now. It's a shame this used to be my favorite place to go.

I just got dinner for myself and it was terrible. The Chicken in the sweet and sour chicken was like concrete and tasted gross. I took one bite out of the Fried dumplings and threw the rest in the garbage. This place use to be really good. I'll never go back.
