Had a small wait on a table, friendly staff, clean establishment. I got the loco moco and spam musubi this time. The loco moco gravy was cold but flavorful but the remainder of the food on the plate was warm, the hamburger patty was cooked very nice, it was good. The spam musubi was decent, I asked for katsu sauce to dip. I will revisit this week and try something else I was interested in on the menu. Portions are not skimpy either. Was just walking down the road and saw this place glad I did. I love that they have pictures on the website as well.

As a solo traveler exploring the NW food scene, Hula Pot was a delightful find. This Hawaiian-inspired spot in Coeur d’Alene its cute, tropical decor—think vibrant colors and tiki vibes that scream island escape. Fun fact: Hawaiian cuisine in Idaho reflects the state’s growing love for Pacific flavors, sparked by transplants and festivals like Boise’s annual Hawaiian cultural events. The Chicken Katsu with Curry stole my heart—crispy, juicy cutlets draped in rich, savory-sweet curry sauce. Craving heat, I mentioned it to the staff, and they worked magic, adding a chili dust that brought a fiery kick without masking the dish’s soul. It was excellent. The macaroni salad side, creamy with a little tang in every bite, was the perfect bonus. Hula Pot’s warm service and wallet-friendly prices

Had a fantastic experience during Restaurant Week at Hula Pot! I ordered off the special Restaurant Week menu and started with the lumpia for an appetizer, which was perfectly crisp and flavorful. For the main dish, I ordered the beef flank hotpot with rice—absolutely delicious and full of rich, comforting flavor. To finish, we had the matcha pie, which was the perfect but not too sweet ending to the meal. The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is top-notch. Everything from the food quality to the hospitality made the experience memorable. If you're looking for a taste of authentic Hawaiian cuisine and warm island hospitality, Hula Pot is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend! 🌺🍲

I visited Hula Pot for the second time in a week and decided to try a few different menu items—and once again it was fantastic. We started with the crab rangoons, which were perfectly crispy and served with a delicious tangy sauce. For my main dish, I ordered one of their signature hot pots with short ribs and mushroom broth, which was incredibly flavorful and comforting. I also tried the somen salad, which was fresh and a great complement to the hot pot. Once again, the food quality, flavor, and service were top-notch. The restaurant is welcoming and the staff makes the experience feel very family-friendly. If you’re looking for authentic Hawaiian cuisine with great service and a welcoming atmosphere, Hula Pot is the place to go. I will highly recommended Hula Pot to all of our North I

Spacious, clean and bright interiors. Friendly service. Food is so flavorful and delicious. Best poke I've ever tasted. My husband says that this was the best kalbi dish that he's had. So amazingly delicious that I couldn't resist eating some of it inspite of me being a pescatarian! Grilled to perfection. Meat was so tender and grilled too perfection. The taste was perfect, not over powering. Wish we lived in the area so we could try the hot pot. Just passing through from California to Montana. I'm so happy that we ate here! It was worth while! 😊
