Huggy’s Grill at Wagon Wheel

I wanted some takeout & found this place - decided to go. It's basically a home converted into a bar, restaurant, pool hall. Where you park outside in a residential neighborhood & there are a few 2 person tables inside & a small bar inside. I was greeted by a young man who gave me a menu & relayed my order to the lady behind the counter who relayed it back to the kitchen. The place was PACKED, but I still got my food in a timely manner & it was delicious. The only knock I would say was that the mens bathroom didn't have any soap & needed to be cleaned. It was setup like a home with a sit-down toilet but people were using it to stand & pee in it which means no one was hitting it - especially after a few drinks. Was driving around & got hungry. Maps said this was nearby & opened for lunch. It's a bit off the main roads, the best places usually are. Got grilled fish & shrimp takeout. The gentleman who took my order was so friendly. Very excited that they do CashAp so I had cash on hand for tip. Try The Big Nasty Burger it's breakfast and lunch all on a bun! Looking forward to bringing the family here. Been bringing family and friends here. Last night the honey hot wings were an 11 out of 10! Best prices on steak anywhere on the Grand Strand. Love it here.

My wife surprised me with date night here on 4-26-24. Was pleased that there was handmade ramps to get wife's wheelchair inside. Enjoyed meeting the owner and many of the staff. Wife had the Nasty burger and chili cheese fries. I had the steak and seafood special! Steak made perfectly to order. Huge scallops were tasty. I can't believe we'd never heard of this joint. Great food, great people, and great prices. The touch tunes was a fun app to play the jukebox. Can't wait to come back to try more delicious food. The fish, shrimp with fries photo was takeout lunch from earlier today.

This is a spot that locals frequent. I had the hot dog all the way and fries. The hotdog didn't disappoint. I will return. The prices were very reasonable. The family was very nice and welcoming.

Local spot with good food! I had the shrimp & fries and my boyfriend had the Big Nasty burger- both were very good and HOT (mean temp). While it gives off a locals hangout only vibe, everyone there was very friendly and welcoming! Definitely worth a visit!
