House of Bagels

The food here is tasty and the bagels are fresh, especially the egg and cheese sandwich which I really enjoyed. However, the place definitely needs more attention to cleanliness. The prep and kitchen areas could be kept up better, which takes away from the overall experience. Good spot for a quick bite, but I hope they improve the cleaning to match the quality of the food.

First time trying this bagel shop and would 10/10 recommend it! Got a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on an egg bagel and it was delicious! Will definitely be coming back!

I think I’ve found my local bagel place. Bagels are great quality (got a crunch to the skin, but soft and fluffy insides). They don’t skimp on the lox, and it’s fresh. The price is great (as of this review, $12 for bagel with lox and cc). Service is efficient and courteous - they have a rotation of about 5-6 working the counter/orders. Other pastries also available, like muffins, empanadas, etc. the chocolate muffin is really cake. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. There’s a counter of seats, but I’ve never eaten in. They look clean though.

Ordered an avocado toast with Lox w/ over easy egg & a whole wheat bagel.For the price it’s not worth $15. The toast tasted stale & only gave 1 small slice of lox on it & the over easy egg was already leaking when I recieved it. It was a sad experience. & they never gave me my whole wheat bagel so I didn’t even get to try it. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Finally a respectful bagel with butter! Most places in the area will toast their bagels by default, or "warm" them up so they have the appearance of being "fresh" which leads to a soggy piece of bread covered in wet butter. Maybe some people like this, I don't. So that's where the house of bagels shines. Their bagels are freshly made - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But the butter is respectfully applied cold and solid. No nasty soggy texture here. Just fresh. Crisp. And respectful. Their steak and eggs wrap and other food is also really good too. Highly recommended if you like your bagels prepared respectfully!
