Housatonic River Brewing

I love this place! The vibe, the beer, and now the food are great! Love the live music nights. Both indoor and outdoor spaces manage to stay quiet even when they're relatively full. So happy they opened a kitchen on-site. My only wish is that they allowed dogs or had a dog-friendly area in their outdoor space (though I can't blame them and I'm not removing a star because I understand it's because they had a negative dog-related incident at one point).

Some of the best beers I've had at a brewery in Connecticut! The IPAs are enjoyable but the Island Lager stole the show. Crisp and refreshing, really gives you that beach feel. Place also has a great selection of whiskey and bourbon. And for the non beer drinkers, they also have fridges full of pretty much every high noon flavor. Good place to relax after work.

The beer, bourbon, and whiskey selections are top-notch, and the outdoor beer garden with fire pits creates an unbeatable vibe. Perfect place to relax, enjoy great drinks, and listen to live music! 🍻🔥

Great food, made fresh with fresh ingredients. Local meat. The smoked wings are the best around. The Brisket is fresh and smoked on site. The beer is all great. I love the pirates and parrots. I like the fact that they don't allow dogs or kids. It's a great place for adults to have a great day/night out. The music is awesome every weekend they have live music

Stopped after hiking in evening on a Sunday. Craft beer is Excellent! Chatted with owner by great warm fire out back on patio. Great mood and environment with talented acoustic guitar / singer. On a quick trip, wish I could come back.
