Hotel Crittenden

We stayed here a few years ago and were looking forward to visiting again. We found you accidentally while touring on our motorcycle. We had a lovely experience when we were there. Sad to hear about the fire. Maybe it’ll rise again and become a phoenix.

We were very pleased with our stay here. We got in after a long ride up from Central Pennsylvania, multiple side stops and a long hike. The check in process here is painless and very quick, parking is on the side street, and they have a bar and restaurant on site here. We like the historical building, centrally located in this progressive and interesting town. Our room was quiet and our sleep was sound.||The staff is great. The wifi here is the fastest that I have ever experienced at a hotel.

the ambiance of this place in addition to the absolutely amazing food is a definite 5 star facility! Absolutely gorgeous inside. The old detail is stunning. I love that they refinished the old and didn’t replace it with new things. Just gorgeous! The staff was super nice as well. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Our only suggestion would be that the dinner come with a side salad. Those cost extra-we ordered it but didn’t get it (that was okay-we ordered appetizers for the table as well)

Absolutely great place. First time here. Loved their burgers..the fries with the burgers were so fresh & crispy..(I ate them all).. The Beer mussels were delicious.. crab stuffed mushrooms were awesome but be careful, the mushrooms are hot! The price for all of it including my raspberry drink was a bit over 40$.... well worth it.

Was in town late Friday night for work. We got there 15 minutes before the kitchen closed in their Taproom, but we still got served. Was not expecting such a great menu; my wife and I both got steaks. There was also a pool table and live music. It's a really neat and historic property, and there was obviously a lot of money put into restoring it. They are super dog friendly and the accommodations are on point. The owner, Chandra, was wonderful and made herself available via cell phone 24/7. My wife had left a pair of pants in the room and they are mailing them back to us on their dime. We cannot wait to go back later in the year when the weather is warmer and we have more time to spend there. Highly recommend.
