I stayed here from Jan 29 to Feb 1 and it is probably the best B&B I've stayed at. Definitely, my favorite with the location to Cherry Springs State Park and how friendly the owners are! I loved the breakfast too especially the granola 😋 The room I stayed in was extremely cozy and comfortable. It also had a coffee maker with pods and tea readily available! I'll do my best to stay here again before I move away from the East Coast.
We spent a lovely night in the blackberry loft. The property is easy to navigate, and well cared for with rustic but up-to-date features. It's a short, direct drive to the cherry springs viewing area if you're in town for the park. There may be closer options, but I would consider the difference negligible considering how much we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast in the morning is homemade and delicious, and the family is happy to speak with you and give local recommendations. Definitely consider booking here!
Extremely disappointing. Was supposed to be able to see the stars near Cherry Springs State Park... we were told by the owner that you could see the stars during the full moon phase, but you cannot see any stars. The breakfast was horrible, every day it was scrambled eggs with globs of cheese and greasy homefries. The food was not hot it was just warm, and it was not fit to eat. There was not large portions as it said in the self-praise on the website. It was 175 dollars a night for 3 people. It was not worth the money at all. The room was noisy, you could hear something turn on and off every 45 minutes. The atmosphere was not great and the room was just ok for cleanliness. We would have been better off sleeping in our car and grazing by the road for our all you can eat big country breakf
We had a lovely time with Frosty Hollow. We went to see a meteor shower and although it was very cold and we could only see them in the middle of the night,we enjoyed the whole experience. The rooms are spectacular and the breakfast was delicious. The gift shop is cool too! We hope to be back in the Spring or Summer , maybe Autumn! Beautiful scenery.
This was a wonderful place to stay out in the country! Quiet, peaceful just like you want when in the mountains. Our hosts were very thorough in communicating with us prior to arrival. Our room was comfortable and met all our needs. Breakfast was delicious! It's obvious this family works hard, and with joy to take care of their guests. We enjoyed some hiking on the AFT, a trip to Kinzua Bridge and also to Wellsboro. They are not far from the Logging Museum which was closed but that will give us a reason to return : ) Thank you Ayer family for making our vacation special!
