Hornitos International Grill

I just moved back to culpeper and wanted to try a small family owned business in Culpeper so I stopped by Hornitos to give it a try. We ordered the Carne asada, their special chicken en salsa Verde, and two pupusas and some horchata. It all tasted fresh and authentic. The salsas were also delicious and red had a little kick to it 🌶️ Everything was delicious and fulfilling due to portions being well sized 🤤 our waitress was very nice and little shy but definitely attended us well. My only issue that takes away a star is due to the place needing some love. The place is a little outdated and could use some more decor or new chairs and tables. Also the place was dead silent except for the workers cooking due to them having an open kitchen. Music wasn't played until nearing the end of our meal

First time, and we were not disappointed with the menu or the selections. The food was fresh and delicious. The address for the shopping center has the restaurant at a different location and part of the shopping center and I suggested a location move to google maps. Hopefully I was successful with that. They also have a full bakery.

First time coming in. My wife had tacos barbacoa and I had a gordita al pastor and asada de rez. It was all amazing, even the tortillas were fresh and homemade. Glad we stopped by.. some of the best gems truly are hidden. We can't wait to come back.

Good Mexican/ south American place. Staffs English is a bit spotty but their usual clientele doesn't mind. Food is really good though. Take out and dine in. The tortillas are totally homemade. Cordita is good too.

Delicious Taco. Absolutely scrumptious. I had just one to sample with pastor meat. It was nice, moist, soft, and a bit greasy. Presented on the plate nicely too with some garnishes, napkins, and sauces. Good portion of meat, cilantro, and slightly cooked diced onions. Definitely felt like every inch of the tortilla was made use of. The meat was seasoned to perfection. It didn't need any salsa whatsoever. That's the sign of a brilliant taco and a confident cook. The salsas seemed kind of tame, in my opinion. A little watered down, but I know a lot of people like it that way. I typically don't, is all.
