hong jie special noodles & dumplings

We've been to many of the Chinese restaurants around Fort Worth and several of the best reviewed ones in Dallas and this is our favorite Chinese food so far. Particular standouts: Pork Soup Dumplings: my wife loves soup dumplings, I'm usually not crazy about them, but we both agreed these are the best we've ever had. Incredibly delicious broth and perfectly cooked. Eggplant with Special Sauce: Fried to light and crispy perfection and a really interesting sauce that's not quite like anything I've had before. House Special Fried Rice: I usually find fried rice a little bland, but they manage to get their rice incredibly flavorful. Dry Fried String Beans: Classic Szechuan green beans, really well executed. The only dish we've had here we didn't think was very good was the Spicy Chicken,

We visited Hongjie Restaurant and had such a lovely experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and everything felt so fresh and flavorful. The standout for me was definitely the homemade dumplings—they were perfectly cooked with a great balance of taste and texture. The restaurant itself is also such a cute spot, with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for a family meal. It’s a great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy some hearty, comforting food. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a warm, delicious dining experience!

It was pretty good. Food came out hot. I particularly liked the chili oil wontons and the black golden buns. I thought the tables were kind of dirty but service was attentive enough given that we order on our phones

Great food!!! The eggplant was easily some of the best I've ever had - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Be aware, menu has no descriptions and orders are placed via mobile phone and website. We didn't realize the Hot and Sour soup was garnished with cilantro. This could mean trouble if you have allergies.

I’m so glad that we have an authentic Chinese restaurant in Fort Worth. The food is SO DELICIOUS! The portion is big. We love everything we ordered. There are many different food options in the store. The restaurant is really clean. The service is awesome. We felt very welcome. I’ll definitely come back again. ❤️🤌
