Honey Hut Ice Cream

I always love going to Honey Hut when I visit family in Cleveland. I had a twister with cookie dough and brownie bites. I loved it! I’ve had the root beer float and peanut butter ice cream before. There always is a line so make sure to go early if you don’t want to wait. It is worth the wait. I found out they also sell Honey Hut at the Cleveland Zoo. It doesn’t have as many options but it’s still good.

Honey Hut Ice Cream is a small chain of ice cream shops in the northern Ohio area that specializes in small batch ice cream and serves pre-made pints, milkshakes, smoothies, sundaes and more! Their locations are small and the atmosphere is simple but cute with a bumble bee as their mascot. The ice cream we had was very good as both my wife and I had the flavors of the day. Service when we ordered was nice and prompt but before we came in, our group was sternly told to move to the side of the building because we were "in the parking lot" but we were not. I got a waffle cone with chocolate ice cream and chocolate-peanut butter. My mother grew up going to Honey Hut so I’ve always heard how good it is! The ice cream is made with honey, making it super creamy and delicious. The service was also pretty quick, even with a line.

Friendly staff who were patient and nice. Me and my wife had a lot of questions about the ice creams ingredients due to allergies, and the staff were nice enough to answer every one.

Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! I got salted caramel ice cream with cookie dough bites. The cookie dough bites were soft and delicious to finish off the whole dish!!
