East of Chicago Pizza-Brecksville

Fairly standard shop. While nothingness great, nothing was bad either. Nice Main Street location, safe tree-lined location. These are deep dish, Chicago Melt was ok… All the cheese was wanting to come off at once. The Buffalo Chicken Sub was decent, this reviewer would have appreciated the ability to get a hotter sauce. The garlic butter sauce was very similar to Papa John’s. The PB&J Pizza was quality with the Jiff & Smuckers ingredients, would have liked it to be a little sweeter, perhaps some powdered sugar.

The pizza here is pretty good, but oh boy, the meatball subs are where it’s at. This is the only place I’ve ever been to that takes the extra 10 seconds to CUT YOUR MEATBALLS IN HALF! Meaning they are perfectly spread out across the hearty sub roll and don’t fly out of your saucy sandwich like so many other sad meatball subs I’ve had. I recommend extra cheese, but even “au naturale”, these subs are the bomb. There’s also often a coupon or special that brings it down ynder $10/sub if you get two, and these heat up very well the next day (so long as you get it in a ziplock before the bread dries out). Service is always fast and friendly.

Hats off to Justin at East of Chicago!! We work here at an apartment complex & were in a pinch for some last minute pizzas. We called & Justin was able to make it happen for us, while also being the only worker in the shop at the time!

We got pizza from this location couple of weeks ago and it was so good. I really wanted to eat taco pizza and let me tell you this location didn’t disappoint. All their veggies was super fresh. I really loved their Jalapeño, it was so crunchy and fresh.

I remember when I had this pizza all the time with my mom and my brothers 15 years ago we used to get it so much It definitely does not taste the same it's okay I went there and I was so excited It was hardly any meat on the pizza I ordered the taco pizza hardly no meat no sour cream just a bunch of lettuce and tomatoes. I don't think I will go back and I drove 30 minutes. I remember in my childhood we used to eat that pizza so fast but it definitely has changed even the dough.
