Honey Dew Donuts

Hard Facts: The food and coffee are made excellent and the donuts are really bar none. HOWEVER, the employees are literally the rudest, non-smiling, overall grumpy people I've dealt with. I DO NOT love my coffee made with malice and spite, truthfully, it's a bummer for the amount I spend on coffee. So... I go out of my way to go to the Diamond Hill Rd. in Cumberland location, because they hit all the marks and the employees are quite literally the extra sunshine.

In general, this is my go to for coffee, donuts, and bagels. I’ve been drinking their iced cappuccino for many many years and unfortunately every time I go get one it looks black. It’s premade with cream and sugar usually. Disappointed about that.

If you ever want a donut how they use to made back in the day- you have to visit THIS location of Honey Dew. They are literally, amazing. All Honey Dews use to make them like this, in the 70's, 80's and 90's. This is the only location I know of, that still does. They are HUGE, and a little crunchy on the edges. And of course, the girls are very nice here. I go way, way out of my way, to go here.

Sometimes those sandwich orders slow things down. This store seems to be heavy on the cream in an ice coffee. Tastes more like coffee milk. And the individual creamers are not the same cream you put in the coffee. I'll put 4 in a large and they do not really change the color much. Next time I'll have to ask for half of usual cream. Bakery products are excellent and very large, lately I'm a fan of the coffee roll!

I had a coupon for a donut but wasn't sure I was going to go. I'm glad a did. It wasn't the same as the honey dew I have been to. The donuts looked amazing. I tried one of their specialty a peanut butter and fluff. Soo good but you definitely need a drink with it. The server said they make them weekly. To bad it's kind of far from home.
