Lincoln Public Library

All the staff are kind and friendly except Becky in the adult section.. I’ve only visited this library a handful of times. My 2 year old decided to sprint to the adult section once and as I was chasing after him, I overheard Becky say to my child “…-or else you will have to leave the library”…and I turned around and said “yes, well unfortunately that tactic isn’t going to work” and she replied with “well I hope he is quiet”…I’m sorry, what? First of all, he is TWO and doesn’t understand what Ms. Becky is threatening here…and second, that was rude and maybe build a sectioned out portion so that children don’t run in that direction rather than threatening babies..not impressed by this women and she’s clearly miserable.

Love the Lincoln Library. I request books on the app and within a day or two I've got a new book to read. Saves me hundreds of dollars each year!

Great place to find something to read. Very comfortable. Nice to use the computers.

Always,pleasant great arts and crafts movies days

This afternoon we watched the once in a generation solar eclipse with our daughter at the library. Kudos to Lincoln Public Library for the solar eclipse glasses, eclipse cookies, and eclipse art and crafts. Our public libraries build community through education. The librarians staffing the event were delightful. It was well planned and organized. Another great reason to support our public libraries.
