Honey Bee Coffee

To start, I grew up in Cleveland my entire life. My whole family is from here, and personally speaking, it's not a great place, lol, but there are some people coming into town and changing that the owner of Honey Bee Coffee being one of those people! I visited them almost every day for nearly 2 years while they were still at the small location in front of Super Quick, and of course, she got to know me a little bit, and that, of course, included my daily order, lol. Well, since they moved across town, I have also moved out of town and do not get to visit as much. Today was only my second time at the new location since they moved, so I have not been to this place or spoken to these people in nearly 3 YEARS! I walked in today unsure if I wanted the same thing I normally get or something else.

I really enjoy Honey Bee, the flavors are great and creative. My wife enjoyed the snickers mocha as well. I usually go for the Honey Bee Latte and my son orders the Shark Bite Lemonade. I also enjoy their pastries, my favorite is the Maple Pecan. Make sure you get a rewards card after 10 coffees you get a free one. The staff is very warm and welcoming.

Slightly tucked behind off the main road is this gem of a coffee shop. Amazing service! I had a brown sugar latte and a butter pastry with raspberry drizzle and powder sugar. Both were delicious and served with a smile. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

The drinks i’ve had here have always been great. There hasn’t been one drink that I did not like. However, every time I walk into here.. I don’t feel welcome at all. There’s always younger women who works the front and every time I walk into the building, I just get starred at with no welcome or anything. I like to sit at the tables sometimes to drink my coffee and when I do, I watch to see how they interact with others to see if it’s universal. I’ve gathered that it’s only a warm welcome if the girls know you or not. I understand it’s a small town, but as someone who just moved here a year ago, I’d like to feel more welcome at an establishment that has never let me down with my coffee needs. I just wish the girls were more welcoming to EVERYONE. Thank you!!!

I’m not huge on trying new coffee places, or even different coffee but this place has exceeded my expectations everytime. This is now the third time I’ve tried their coffee and each time I’ve gotten something slightly different and each time I’ve LOVED it. I always ask for something close to an iced brown sugar shaken espresso with hazelnut and oatmilk, then they do their thing.There is just something about their espresso that’s never too strong and the flavor is unique. Their workers have been super sweet every single time, and anyone who’s worked with the general public knows that’s not easy to be sweet consistently, yet they are. Seriously this place is a must try!
