Just went to the public works open house, it was so nice! They had the trucks out for the kids, water and sand to play in, and the water pump facility gave us a tour and he was so kind and my son loved it! Wonderful community event!
I wish everyone was freaky fast like me, but they got here as fast as they could. I would suggest that the Public works keeps someone at the plant 24/7 for emergencies for their customers...especially when the main lines providing us all water is a lead pipe...the water is not pumping clean into main lines...and honestly homewood should come together to get this problem fixed...before we all get poisoned like in University Park...
Went to their open house last sat & it was great . They had several vehicles w/ a driver in them & the kids got to get in truck & work the bucket. Then they got to drive a steamroller around a designated area
I have passed Dimitri's food shop 200 times and I decided to stop tonight and realized I should have stopped a long time ago. Prices are good and the food is out of this world!
Faster response time than the city, but they’ve really fallen behind since the pandemic. Then again, haven’t we all? I give them grace with a B-
