Homemade Ice Cream Shoppe

We wanted to get ice cream to enjoy later, so we stopped in because it was close to where we were staying, so it didn't melt. Small business was friendly, and we had no waiting. Medium size was 3 scoops and fit in a small styrofoam coffee cup for 7.99. We tried peanut butter, blueberry cheesecake, and coconut. All tasted delicious and fresh. There was plenty of free parking.

Not bad. The ice cream was okay, I wish the cones were fresh. It smelled of strong cleaning product inside the shop. The service wasn't very friendly. I took off one star for the quality to cost ratio. I bought two cones, one scoop for $16. A bit outrageous. And I took a start off for the service. I felt like I wasn't wanted which is not good for business.

Great spot with fun flavors! We tried strawberry cheesecake, peanut butter, and cookie dough—the first two were excellent. Texture was a bit icy. Staff was very kind. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Best ice cream I’ve ever had!! You can’t go wrong with any flavor, I’m usually a strawberry cheesecake type of girl but tonight I got the cherry vanilla and I’m literally blown away! Also the girl serving us was very sweet!

We visited this and another ice cream place while we were in Panama City Beach. The other place had Hershey's ice cream, as did many other shops we passed. We were excited to see this spot since they make the ice cream in-house. That said, I really felt like this place is just mailing it in at this point. The ice cream wasn't great - it must be just a 10% or 12% butterfat (10% is the legally low limit). One of the freezers was making a loud clanging sound and was in obvious need of repair. The sound was enough that I didn't want to eat inside the restaurant. The dipping cabinets had a ton of ice build-up. The lady that served us was really nice, but otherwise it just seemed like whoever owns this place isn't putting a lot of effort into it.
