Hogs Galore

Really really good. Appalachian Poutine fries were amazing. The gravy is perfect. Burger was amazing. They slaughter their own pigs. They got a meat market, too. (see photo)My girlfriend tried dipping her phone in the sauce because she doesn't have a beard to carry it around with her.

The fries, plain were the best. The Hillbilly Fries were ok, especially with all that pork. Maybe a little less pork next time. I thought there was going to be some sort of sauce on top, like more BBQ or aioli and maybe some cheese too. Same goes for the loaded fries. I was expecting green onions and some type of sauce. I did put ranch on top, but it wasn't enough. The chicken fingers were way over done. We actually got sick from them. As for the Philly and sausage, I was expecting a little more. They call it a sandwich, but it doesn't present like a sandwich. I would have like possibly mushrooms and a bigger bun, some type of aioli or special sauce to make it taste less dry. The meat for the Philly was ok, not overly overcooked slightly. Other then that, I probably will not eat there agai

I felt like I was in an old 70’s Chinese takeout looking at their menu board. Prices were decent and food was good. There was a small group of 6 that went there. Only one girl working who could only take one order and then would leave to go cook it. I was the last to order and with a hour lunch break minus the 5 min car ride I had a whopping 7 mins to eat and drive back to work. The location is in the middle of an industrial park and the inside has not been updated since the 70’s I would say. Very grungy and in need a a pressure washing everything inside.

The food here is very good. I had a cheese steak hoagie and upgraded loaded fries. Both very delicious.

This is a family owned local business. The location is a little out of the way, but it is worth a trip. My wife and I enjoyed the pulled pork and brisket. And unlike many other small businesses which overprice their foods, Hogs Galore is very reasonable. I will have to try the ribs next time through.
