Hoagie's Pizza & Pasta

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. This was our first time here. Service was great. Staff was friendly and inviting. And the Buffalo chicken pizza was amazing. Best i have had in a long time. My wife had the stuffed cheese, pepperoni pizza. She said it was the best she has had in years. Definitely recommend. Also great local beers on tap!

The service was great. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a diner or pizza place. The calzone was awesome. Very good, highly recommend but the baked penne with sausage was disappointing. It was not baked. penne with meat sauce and sausage. It never went near an oven. No cheese on top. The meat sauce was very meaty and the sausage was a large portion but not what I expected. Can’t recommend.

First time there and an impulse stop for takeout. Had a good Italian sub, and the rest of their menu looks appetizing with a very good beer and wine selection. The daily homemade Minestrone soup looks tempting for winter too.

Overall staff was great, order was ready over the phone in 30 minutes, the price for a large plain cheese and pepperoni is very fair. I eat pizza from all over the US, I can only give this pizza a 3 star. Overall the crust was good but both the cheese and sauce need more flavor to be great, not bad by any means just not great. Worth a visit though.

Great food, friendly staff, and great service. We had a night where we were running on a tight schedule at the Essex location, and they quickly got our order in. I always enjoy coming here because of the people in addition to the food.
