Hitz Pub and Eatery

I think I’m falling in love with this place! Every staff member was incredibly kind, and even though the food took a bit of time, it was totally worth the wait once I tasted it. Honestly, I wouldn’t have minded waiting even longer, haha. If you’re looking for a cozy, family-like vibe with delicious food, don’t hesitate to check this place out!

Long time Hitz fans! Tonight they got our take out order wrong. Just wrong enough I decided to call about it. Vicki (manager) was terrific, offered a refund or delivery on the incorrect items. Much appreciated after I already went out on a rainy night the first time. Delivery man was so kind. Mistakes happen; how they handled it says a lot. We remain loyal Hitz customers!

Service was just fine, I think the server had too many tables to take care of. Diet Pepsi if that makes a difference. The pizza was really good Chicago style. They offer thin, pan and deep dish. Will definitely go back.

I could not think of a sadder excuse of service than what we experienced on Saturday night there. You would imagine, the place is full, they would be staffed, moving fast but instead, it takes 45 minutes to get mozzarella sticks, and our waiter is no where to be found unless we nearly tackle him to try to get his attention. This level of service is completely unacceptable, and for a sports bar, the bar is already set pretty low.

On 01/01/2026, at 7:10 pm called to see if they were still open to eat. We were told yes and when we showed at 7:20 pm we were told that the kitchen is closed due to holiday and weather. It’s completely ridiculous that they tell us to come in to just turn us way when we get there. For a better experience, go to Emil’s sports bar down the street
