Historic Piper Tavern

[This is NOT an Artificial Intelligence AI generated review but a real world Chuck Whigham review.] I was working in Perkasie, Pennsylvania on a 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT 392 Scat Pack and I asked our awesome customer where is a good local and non-chain place to eat. She immediately recommended the Historic Piper Tavern which was less than 3.0 miles away. The Historic Piper Tavern is a simple, casual, and cozy eatery with great food, drinks, and beverages served in a quaint historic colonial house. They have a very nice menu that is not too busy but it has something for everyone including some unique and special menu items. They are known for the great steaks, seafood, and burgers. The menu has a large variety of items, something for everybody. Pictured is French onion soup which was good but a little salty, tavern burger which was good, and veal schnitzel. I enjoyed the veal a lot. Waitress Michelle was very friendly.

Went for Valentines Day lunch with friends. The service was amazing. Our server Rebecca was very nice and accommodating. Our whole vist was very nice. Thank you Piper Tavern. We'll be back.

Everything at Piper’s Tavern was on point…food, service and atmosphere. My flounder with lump crabmeat stuffing was delicious!! Tender and tasty. The green salad fresh. The Snapper soup also delicious!! My Dirty Martini 🍸 was the only thing a little lacking, but that was probably because I like them especially dirty. 🤣 The service was superb, with the server remembering every detail. This tavern is an historical spot that dates back to Revolutionary days. You could feel the history of the place. I would highly recommend a visit to the Tavern.

The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great! Highly recommend for a special occasion!
