Himalayas Tea House & Spice Cafe

Today, I visited the Himalayas Tea House Restaurant with my husband for lunch, and we enjoyed some amazing Nepali dishes. The food was flavorful and fresh, reminiscent of my mother's cooking. The portion sizes were generous, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced. The restaurant itself has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely return to try more items from their menu.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant last Saturday for a function, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The snacks and appetizers were absolutely delicious, chowela was soft and flavorful, setting the tone for a fantastic meal. The owner is really friendly and helpful. The Nepali lunch that followed was equally impressive. I also took some chicken chowmein and chicken momo home for kids dinner and they were just as tasty. Overall, the food and service were top-notch, making it a memorable dining experience.

A hidden gem in Scotch Plains. Family run, authentic Nepalise and Indian food made with care. Such unique flavors, prepared carefully and served by such welcoming people. It is so nice to have this as a dining option in the area. One might only expect to find food like this in NYC.
