387 Oyster House & Bar

We really enjoyed our meal here! The restaurant is modern and chic but still has a cozy ambiance. We had the chowder, oysters, seafood linguine, and tri tip steak sandwich. The linguine sauce had a great depth of flavor and came with a generous portion of mixed seafood. The sandwich had thinly shaved steak and was incredibly juicy and flavorful. Service was attentive as well. I’m excited to try out the other items on the menu and am very happy that we have a quality new spot in town. Note: Happy Hour is at the bar only.

Went for lunch and the food is delicious. Loved everything we had. Blue points, scallop with saffron risotto, oyster and scallop po boy, spinach dip. Get the spicy passion fruit margarita. We went back the next day!

I had an excellent experience at 387 Oyster House. The food here really lives up to the hype. My dish was cooked perfectly and plated really well. The sauce, veggies, and fish all came together beautifully. The atmosphere is relaxed but still has an upscale feel, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and on point the whole time. Overall, great food, great service, and a great vibe. I will definitely come back!

What a fantastic addition to Scotch Plains! 388 Oyster House & Bar delivers on every level. The environment is contemporary, warm, and truly inviting. The stunning round bar immediately catches your eye, and the dining area is spacious and comfortable, making it perfect for everything from date night to a casual meal with friends. The menu has something for everyone-whether you're craving a great burger, a delicious lobster roll, or a beautifully prepared fine-dining entrée. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. A special shout-out to Tony G, our amazing server! He was friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better.

387 had big shoes to fill after bernadette's closing and i am happy to say they have not only filled them but changed the fit a bit, for the better. layout is smarter, menu is extensive, and service is excellent. excited to see how they develop further! ps @387: please consider frying fries in duck fat à la bernadette--my #1 missed item!
