The food isn't bad. They just don't give you enough. The meat is always skimpy on the subs. But it seems fresh

Doing laundry is the worst.. but I look forward to it because I reward myself with the awesome Julie's platter and get cozy with some A+ comfort food, fried to perfection and fit to satisfy.. always delicious and the folks there are really, really friendly! We always feel so incredibly welcome at Hilldale.. the atmosphere is genuinely lovely. Highly recommend to anyone- and you HAVE to try the fried pickles!

Hilldale Pizza never disappoints! The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Their pizza crust is just the right mix of crispy and chewy, and they’re generous with the toppings. I’ve also tried their subs and wings — everything has been delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick, even during busy hours. Their combo pizza is an absolute GEM. Dough texture was great: you can fold the cuts in half with 3 fingers and it'd be difficult, only because there was such a generous amount of toppings. The green peppers, onions, and meat/sausage were cooked really well -- browned, crispy, but not burnt/dehydrated/shrunken. Sauce was seasoned. Cheese wasn't greasy. Price was right. I had 2 leftover slices for lunch, from the previous night, unrefridgerated (but reheated, ofc), and they were STILL delicious. I've been disappointed by many pizzas in the past, so I didn't expect much from a local pizza joint. But I'm glad I had a craving and decided to try this place out. Keep up the good work, guys!
