This place serves dishes far tastier than many Michelin-mentioned restaurants in Boston. It is a cute little powerhouse of a restaurant delivering true fine dining quality. I saw the five-star rating before visiting and assumed it might be hype, but I was completely wrong. It is located in a small town about 40 minutes from Boston, and it is absolutely worth the drive. The dishes are not just familiar flavors mixed together. Every ingredient feels carefully considered, thoughtfully composed, and intentionally layered to create something entirely new. As a foodie, nothing brings me more joy than seeing a chef’s creativity and design come together to produce flavors I have never experienced before, and this place delivers exactly that. The elevated Korean flavors are stunning. The sea bas
A friend and I had dinner, the restaurant is modern casual but somewhat elegant. there is seating at the bar or a few tables. the service was great. we had drinks which were nice and we both had the tofu dish, kimchi and shared a dessert. I wish we had tried more of the side dishes because I am curious and it is winter and we wanted more food. The tofu was super delicious as was the cake for dessert. Order a lot of food if you are hungry, because its great and the items are delicate and clean.
Small Korean-inspired bistro serving some of the most thoughtful fusion dishes I’ve had in Massachusetts. Might be my new favorite “Korean” restaurant in the state. No idea how a place like this is all the way out in Haverhill. Chef with experiences at multiple Michelin starred restaurants (most likely Chef de Partie or Entremetier), and the flavor balance in most dishes were impeccable. Chef Gorrell’s approach blended Korean foundations with seasonal, often unconventional vegetables, which resulted in playful juxtaposition between sweet, savory, and acidic notes. The Bibimbap and Kohlrabi salad were epitomes of such style. Vegetable-forward fusion dishes often get lost in complexity, but these were masterfully balanced. Bibimbap was the dish that instantly got me hooked on this place. A
Food was delicious, the portions were perfect. I want to go again to try the other items on the menu. I like that the menu is small and each dish is well made. The staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks were also fabulous. Highly recommend.
What an incredible meal! If you want a fabulous dinner prepared directly by the two owner/chefs then you need to check this place out. It was a wonderful blend of Korean and American tastes with so many ingredients made in house. We had the beet salad, glazed chicken thighs, jjajeongmyun, and pork rib galgijim. It was hard to pick a favorite! Their desserts were also fantastic and unique. A gooey chocolate creme brulee cake and tomato sorbet. So good! I look forward to my next visit.
