Highland County District Library

Had such a pleasant experience at this library. The staff were friendly and helpful and they had just what I was looking for. They also do a lot of activities for kids and adults every month, which is awesome for our small town.

It’s a toss up if you’re going to interact with a nice librarian or a weird and rude one. This library is one of the few that still has late fees and not just any late fees but outrageous ones at that. Will also report you to collections for not paying late fees on items that you returned and they didn’t check in on time.

Always very friendly! Clean and quiet facility.

Great people that are very knowledgeable and friendly. Very helpful! I love this place, it's so quiet! Just what we need sometimes!

recently got my library card & the staff were very kind and helpful. I went here as a kid all the time, happy to continue my visits as an adult now. and start reading more in 2025!
