Hickory Knob Restaurant

My husband and I along with our son stopped in while we were in the area to get some plates. The service was astounding. We were greeted as we came in and it was immediately one on one service with spectacular warmth and welcoming service. The food was great and the attitudes of the servers I can’t say enough about. They were so nice sweet and caring. This is a must go to place. Go visit if you haven’t. Show the love for the awesome home cooked meal in restaurant and show support for this local restaurant. We will definitely be going back!

Restaurant has more than enough options available to accommodate your family or group no matter the size. They also offer full on sitw catering with awesome prices and the staff to match!!

Food was amazing and only over shadowed by the service. One lady overheard one of our guys say the soup could only be better with cornbread. She stopped and said I'll make you some and she did. We ate there 4 meals and all were delicious.

Great breakfast buffet. Good coffee. Nice friendly staff. A mother's day dinner that was awesome.

Update - within an hour of posting this review, the park manager stopped by our campsite, apologized for the service, and offered us a gift card to make it right. He didn't owe us that and it was a very decent thing to do. This is a good campground and we've enjoyed our stay, and we really appreciate the manager doing that. It shows he cares about his operation and it's image, and I respect that greatly. I raised my review to three stars. Original Review: Wow this was disappointing.
