El sombrero Mexican Restaurant & Grill

Absolutely delicious! We currently live in Texas so eating Mexican is always a gamble but El Sombrero does not disappoint! We came for lunch and there are a lot of lunch options. I had the grilled chicken and it was amazing. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The guacamole is fresh and made in-house. The cheese dip and salsa both had great flavor and I love the chips too! We will definitely come back here when we are back in town.

What a nice delight! The margaritas were delicious! We asked, and received shredded beef, and enjoyed our meal. The music is authentic and upbeat. The staff has been so attentive. I love all the light coming into the restaurant and how clean everything is. The landscaping and plants add a pleasant and caring feeling that they take pride in this place. Definitely returning!

The food quality was as good or better than Lincolnton. If I had any complaint it would be that I like my Salsa a bit spicier. However it was perfect for my wife and maybe that's why God made Hot Sauce. For us this is way better than Mojito's in downtown McCormick hands down. This will be a regular for our date nights. Best part? We don't have to drive 15ish miles to Lincolnton. Hoping locals support it so they stick around.

We were travelling through and decided to stop for lunch. I was so pleasantly surprised. The food was really good, lunch portions were plentiful and he flavor was great, very flavorful!. We got the lunch burrito and quesadillas with an extra side of black beans. Great! And the servers were so pleasant and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

I am hard to please. I haven't had food this good in a long time. Fresh chips, perfect salsa, and plenty of it. Well-seasoned ground beef. Just everything had the perfect taste and seasoning to it. Nice staff. Clean restaurant. And I could not believe the more than reasonable prices. I live out of town unfortunately or I would go here at least once a week. Highly recommend.
