Hibachi Grill

They gave me 10 pieces of steak with the bowl. It’s mostly fried rice. I will never order here again.

Came here for lunch because I was in the area. Going in, I was ready to order. The lady came out and took my order and said 10 minutes. It took just about that amount of time. I ordered the House special fried rice just to gauge the restaurant. It was piping hot when I got back to my destination to eat it. Now the quality was decent. Flavor wasn't evident in the rice but the beef was pretty good. The chicken was okay at best but the shrimp was overcooked and unbelievably bland and flavorless. lol. It's like you gotta rely on sauce to add flavor and I don't like that. Overall, I might go back one more time. If you decide to give them a try, I hope you have a good experience with them. Food looks good. Smells alright. Taste is bad. The chicken I received has the texture of something made in a factory. The vegetables were over cooked and mushy. The miso soup was completely wrong, I don’t even know how to describe it. I would love to give a review of the chicken fried rice but unfortunately it didn’t look safe for consumption. The chicken was somehow worse than the chicken and broccoli, completely white and spongy. I would not eat here again.

Update: at inside and ordered tofu hibachi again. Omg the tofu was grilled in such a way that its exterior was slightly crispy!! Eating in is the wayyy. They thickened their hibachi sauce with more cornstarch, so it's not as watery as it was last year. Still the same large yum yum sauce container. Still a heaping amount of food! -- I always struggle finding tofu dishes in Charleston, but luckily this place offered it: tofu hibachi and tofu teriyaki. I got the teriyaki and it came with a huge tall jello-shot-sized yum yum sauce included!! Normally you'd pay extra for such a size! 10.99 tofu teriyaki price is a steallll with how big the takeout tray is! The food was horrible. The chicken was so dry and over cooked I couldn't get my fork through it. The rice was dry and old tasting and to top it all off I ordered General Tso Chicken and this looked and tasted like BBQ sauce thrown over nasty dry chicken. I will never go back again
