I've always found local coffeeshops to have a lot of personality. A lot of business decisions are made in the space where the coffee is served to customers. An owner of a coffeeshop, or an employee, has so many decisions to make, even about how the place looks! Hey Joe And Jam is a brightly lit example of what decor and food decisions are made! There are two private rooms for time with friends and board games, a thoughtful idea for those who crave privacy but want an hour of peace outside the home. There is a performance stage where artists could improvise a jazz duet for customers seeking some culture. There is coffee for the caffeine hungry, and unique jams for those who's toast is dry. There are also some baked goods, including gluten-free ones like a blueberry scone. Like any Cape Co

Absolutely loved hanging out here. The homemade biscuits and jam are delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful, and I had a very yummy maple latte. A band played music while people played board games and made arts and crafts. My favorite part of the shop are two private rooms anyone can use, no reservation required. A Wonderful community space!

Absolutely loved our visit to this new spot in Chatham! The decor, the vibe, the little bits of whimsy thoughtfully placed around the shop…it was all so comforting and fun. Our group tried the homemade biscuit with clotted cream and jam, the homemade strawberry poptart, the gluten-free scone, and the breakfast sandwiches. Everything was delicious and all said they’d reorder their item. They’re not open every day of the week, so make sure to check their open hours before going. This spot s handicap accessible and their bathroom is huge. Wheelchair users will have no issues maneuvering this space.

This is one of those places that just feels good when you walk in which is always the best at a coffee shop. On top of that the drinks and pastries were all AMAZING. The blueberry and lemon roll had was something I had never thought possible or seen done before and I’m still thinking about it a week later. There was a very kind man playing music outside just enjoying the day and couldn’t think of a better way to start the day. No shade to three fins or snowy owl but if you’re gonna drive for coffee this is the place

I travel for coffee. I work remotely, and there’s nothing I love more than spending an hour or two in a café, vibing and getting things done. I gravitate toward places with home-baked treats, chill energy, and humans who know how to share space well. My first visit to Hey Joe was genuinely enjoyable. It’s the kind of spot that made me think, “If I owned a coffee shop, this is exactly what it would feel like.” The staff were friendly, and there’s plenty of seating including quieter side rooms perfect for conversation or focused work. The coffee is solid. No decaf espresso, which is a bummer, and the dry cappuccino wasn’t quite dry, but still good. The biscuit was nice: gorgeous, buttery exterior, though a bit soft inside. The jam paired nicely, too. I loved the soft music and the overall
