Hey Cuz

It is so refreshing to eat at a place where the folks who cook are not afraid to use a salt shaker! The food was outstanding, one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. The beef had a beautiful crust without being overcooked, which means whoever did the cooking understands that texture is just as important as taste. The sweet tater fries were perfect. My wife got the salad with fried chicken and my mother in law got the chicken finger basket. She says they are the best chicken fingers she has ever had. My wife picked up the order and said the folks at the restaurant were super friendly. All in all, it was simple food done really really well by good folks. We come to Dariwn to visit family often and I think we have found our new go-to place to eat!

The food was fresh and delicious, seasoned and prepared just right. The fact that it’s run by a hospitable young couple is even better. If you live in Darien I’m sure you know but if not and are in the area, make sure you stop by there!

Ashley and her husband took care of us (50+) people for our rehearsal dinner. I can not sing their praises enough!! The food was delicious. Low country boil cooked to perfection. All our family and friends enjoyed themselves! They were efficient, so so organized, so courteous to all! Hey Cuz is without a doubt one of the best decisions we made in our wedding!! I wish I could sing from the rooftop. WONDERFUL!

EAT HERE NOW!! Boyfriend and I called in an order and when he came out with the food, he was left speechless by how nice Shannon and Ashley were. They made him feel so welcome to Darien since we’re new to town. Shrimp po boy, jerk wings, and blue crabs were 10/10, absolutely DELICIOUS!! We’re gonna be regulars for sure!

Awesome little hole in the wall. You can pass right by and not even know it. The staff is very friendly and the food was fast. I haven’t tried but one item and the salmon fries were fantastic! Reasonable prices. Good portion sizes. I definitely recommend stopping by.
