Heffer

I was told about this place by my barber across the street a while back and I finally got a chance to go in with my kids. I thoroughly enjoyed the burger. Good quality patties on a soft roll. The fries were great and seasoned perfectly. I like the whole let’s just toss fries in and bag and serve it lol The hot dog is a good classic beef dog with good melted cheese. My daughter loved the tenders. Only thing I can’t really say I liked 100% was the Mac. I know it has great reviews but it def lacked actual cheese. The bacon was a bit too crispy. Maybe I’ll try it again but next time I’ll prob do the chili. Def give em a try for a good burger and fries. The lemonade and iced tea were really good too.

If there’s one spot in the Milford/Stratford area that feels destined for a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives cameo, it’s Heffer. A buddy and I rolled in right at open with zero menu research, and the owner immediately set the tone. He was welcoming and casually chaotic in the best way. He described choosing between the burger and the chicken sandwich as "McCauley Culkin or Jake Gyllenhaal,” which somehow made perfect sense and did not make the decision any easier. I went full send and ordered The Heffer, which I think the owner called his signature (makes sense!). This beast was stacked so aggressively the potato bun barely stood a chance. It’s a messy eat (as the photo will confirm), but every bite hits: salty, sweet, beefy, rich, with everything melting together instead of fighting for atten

I stopped here last night and ordered a burger, the Windy City dog, and mac & cheese. 🍔🌭🧀 All tasted great, were fresh, and had a lot of flavor. 😋💯 Make sure you try out the tea and cheese corn as well. ☕🌽 If you enjoy great food or just want a chill place, this is it. You will not be disappointed!! 👍😊

Amazing place! Steve and his staff member were great! We split the fries, buttermilk chicken, build your own burger, and a delicious lemon pie. definitely need to visit this spot again!

Not your grandmas smashed burgers a step above double smash burger is almost impossible to eat the Rodeo burger was to die for and the taste of fresh cut French fries as well as some of the best onion rings awesome spot!
