K&S Roti Shop & Jamaican Restaurant

I’ve been craving doubles for the longest time, so I did a quick Google search and came across K&S Roti Shop & Jamaican Restaurant. I ended up driving a bit of a distance because I really wanted to try them out. I placed my order through DoorDash for pickup, which was super convenient. Let’s start with the doubles — unfortunately, they were overly spiced. Instead of having that flavorful, balanced taste you look forward to, it was more of a burning sensation. I love spice, but this just overpowered everything else, and I couldn’t really enjoy the flavors underneath. Now the roti with stew chicken? DELISH. That dish absolutely saved the experience. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with rich, comforting flavor. The sauce was so good and paired beautifully with the potatoes and soft roti.

Seriously, amazing and we have had Caribbean food from all over the state and this is seriously some of the best. Even the little details like the cabbage show how much love goes into every dish. We will be ordering again. Highly recommend.

We’ve been needing this type of food in this area!! I got the bake and shark, doubles, black cake and a sorrel drink from the fridge . Everything was a 10/10 I can’t wait to go back to try some more options! Owner was super friendly, the food is freshly made and I didn’t have to wait a long time .
