Heather's Minnetonka

Heather's Minnetonka is a cozy neighborhood spot with great service and a solid menu. We tried a few dishes and had an overall good experience. * Minnesota Walleye Cakes - Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. Not too fishy, just the right balance. Definitely a highlight! * Corned Beef Reuben - The overall sandwich was great, with well-toasted rye bread, tangy sauerkraut, and good flavor. However, it could've used more corned beef--it felt a little light on the meat. * Shrimp & Andouille Sausage - This dish had a nice smoky, spicy kick from the andouille sausage, and the shrimp were cooked well. Hearty and satisfying. * Walnut Pecan Pie - A bit too hard for our liking. The flavors were there, but the texture made it less enjoyable than expected. Service was friendl

Jeremy was a wonderful server, he explained the menu so well, very personable, and he checked in with us often and got us everything we needed. We enjoyed our date night on the patio, the weather and the views were lovely. Both of our signature cocktails were good, however I really enjoyed the spring sangria. Very well balanced and not too strong. The goat cheese and blackberry with garlic crostini were an explosion of flavor especially when you get a bite of everything together. I cannot say enough great things about the almond crusted walleye. Perfectly cooked and the dill tartar sauce was the perfect addition. This was my first time at Heather’s and I had a great experience. The staff was all very nice (seated me early while I waited for a group). It’s very nice and bright with high ceilings (and good acoustics). We shared a starter of carrots; they were excellent. I had the grilled Rachel with fries - it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Others in my group all said their meals were great including: walleye and tater tots, a pasta, Reuben, and Burrata Bowl. We went to their takeout next door and got desserts to go - I got this Banana Cream Pie (wonderful!). I will be back to dine as well as takeout and look forward to visiting in the spring/summer.

We visited on 9/30 & are still talking about this place, but especially the service. Deborah was pleasant & her meal suggestions weren't trying to upsell us. We dined on the patio & it never felt like she forgot about us. We both split butternut squash/ beet hash & a breakfast quesadilla. De-lish-ous!! We will be coming back for dinner soon!

It was super busy when we entered. We sat at the bar. We had pomegranate mimosas and a breakfast quesadilla with their winter salad. It was amazing food and drinks. The atmosphere was fun.
