the food was amazing. although I would recommend sharing as the portions are huge. my group of 5 girls were beastly hungry and we couldn't even down all of it. we ordered the haddock fish and chips and fried shrimp. now... the service. I've mulled this one over and over in my mind. the wait was 45 min. we were pre warned. not sure if the 45 min was due to the amount of orders, lack of adequate employees, or what.

Great meal. We had lobster rolls and fish and chips made with some amazing local pollack. The lobster roll came on a perfectly prepared roll and had just the right amount of mayo. The pollack was thick, flaky, and done perfectly. The fries/chips were also done just right...a bit crispy. An excellent and reasonably priced meal. Give them a try!

While it was the last day, severely overcooking our seafood meal was unacceptable. By the time our food came out, we could hear the girl at the counter telling all the other customers everything that they had run out of, So I knew it was pointless to complain about our very overcooked fisherman's platter. The shrimp were smaller than the size of a nickel and the clams were nothing but crunchy remnants of what they could have been. They seriously need to look at their Cooks for next year's season. We wasted $60 on a meal that the girl at the counter bragged about the size of the portion we were to receive.

Scallops, shrimp and haddock were all amazing! Tartersauce and coleslaw was so delicious as well! If you're passing thru this is a must try! Service was amazing as well

Shore Thing is a sure thing. Stayed in Lubec 2 nights (June 2024); haddock chowder & lobster roll for takeaway dinner last night, lobster roll again today for lunch. Staff are friendly & seafood tastes great.
