Hawkins Grill & Pizzeria

We called in a carry out pizza order for pepperoni and double mushrooms. Do you know how hard it is to actually get a pizza where you feel like they put double mushrooms on it? Well Hawkins Grill delivered!! There were plenty of mushrooms so we didn't feel like we were getting short changed and the sauce was very tasty. We liked the crisp, chewiness of the crust as well. We both agreed that next pizza will be from Hawkins Grill to confirm they know pizza! (Wish we would have gotten a photo.) The order was a carry out but from the time we called to the drive to pick up, the service was great and not a long wait at all. We have eaten in before and the atmosphere was easy going and service good. When we ate in, it wasn't super busy but the night we picked up the pizza it was so I'm impressed

Tried out Hawkins Grill & Pizzeria today for lunch, and enjoyed the experience. We had cheeseburgers and grilled chicken subs, and a to go order Mediterranean Pizza for supper tonight. Service was fast and friendly, food came out in good order, and was tasty and reasonably priced. Looking forward to going again to this well kept secret just blocks from uptown.

For weeks now, I kept passing by wondering how this hole in the wall was, and now I am glad I stopped by today. The food is amazing and all made from scratch! The pepperoni Stromboli is amazing! The Hot Wings hit it right on the spot, and the jalapeño poppers are amazing!!! They had a perfect kick to them that I have never had with others. If you want an awesome time with family or friends in a friendly atmosphere with amazing food, this is the go-to spot, and the price is great! Give this hidden gem a shot. You will not regret it!

Excellent food. I have been there several times and tried something different each time. Everything has been quite tasty. Im definitely getting the Eggplant next time. Staff has been very friendly and the owner has even greeted when he has the chance. The prices are fair considering the amount of food and the quality. I will absolutely be back.

LOVE this small resturant! Good food and service. Mike and his cooks know how to cook. I've noticed they do a lot of call ins and take outs. Parking can be limited, but you always seem to get a spot. Be careful pulling out, cars are moving fast on Hawkins Ave. Limited seating. 1 large group table other seating is for 4. I'd be surprised if you don't see some one you know eating there.
