A Toda Madre Modern Mex GrilL NC SANFORD

I just ate at A Todo Madre Modern Mex Grill in Sanford and it was so good. The food came out fresh and everything had a lot of flavor. The tacos were honestly some of the best I’ve had around here. The place has a cool, modern vibe and it’s really clean inside. The workers were nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be coming back for sure.

I love Mexican food and have visited this restaurant over 5 times in the last 6 months; it’s usually my go-to stop whenever I’m in Sanford. However, my lunch today with my son was deeply disappointing. I found a toothpick hidden inside my chile relleno. When I brought it to the owner's attention, I was shocked by the response. Rather than a sincere acknowledgment, apology for the safety risk, the owner tried to convince me that this is a standard cooking practice and that customers are expected to be aware and remove the toothpicks. I’ve eaten this dish all over the country and have never been told it's the customer's job to "dig out" hidden sharp objects. Excellent! Top quality food right here. And rinks are great! They do serve alcohol as well, as they have some fancy ones. I highly recommend it. I had the mole enchiladas - everything was great. Rice, beans etc.

Being born and raised in Los Angeles, California. This is by far the closest Mexican food that I have found that reminds me of home. Its authenticity and flavor is delicious. They also have pupusas for those that enjoy Salvadoran food. I highly recommend this place! Shoutout to the owner Jahaira she is kind, friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you!
