Harpers Asian Bistro

Harpers Asian Bistro in Hockessin is one of our favorite sushi spots in Delaware. The sushi is amazing and absolutely delicious, with beautiful presentation that really stands out. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the quality and how everything is served. The bar is awesome with a great drink selection, and the service is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere makes it a great place for a night out whether you are there just for sushi or drinks as well. If you are looking for high quality sushi with great presentation, a solid bar, and excellent service, Harpers Asian Bistro is an easy recommendation.

Enjoyed the apps My main dish was pan seared seafood Kinda light on flavor and doesn't look seared. To me this dish wasn't worth the price, but def would def order the apps again. Service was good.

Great sushi, elevated ambiance, fun experience. Perfect spot for a celebration, but could definitely still be a good casual go-to. Everything we tried was tasty!

We kept hearing about this place. We finally went. The atmosphere was gorgeous. I had a PlumTini and it was divine. Their ceviche is partially cooked and partially raw. I have had better other places. However, their rolls were delicious. The sashimi was tasty and what a presentation! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service at 4 pm was great!

We've been to Harper's three times so far and have really enjoyed the flavorful food and swanky atmosphere. I do recommend making a reservation as it's a popular spot. Our favorites have included both the veggie and pork potstickers, the chicken curry, pad Thai, Mongolian beef and General Tso's chicken. The beef and chicken are always remarkably tender, and dishes artfully seasoned. It's a great date spot as it feels fancy, but also fun to dine with friends or family as the menu is so varied and they don't rush you.
