Customer Reviews
Atmosphere was very comfortable and nostalgic for an old school BBQ joint, unlike a lot of the newer places that feel too modern. The food was very well priced, and servings were a healthy portion. I was satisfied on a one meat portion and 2 sides, but I think I'll do the double next time if I'm really hungry. Cream corn and green beans were DELICIOUS. Brisket was very good and the lean portion was not dry. Eager to try the mac n cheese next visit. Chicken sandwich was PACKED! Odd observation: the soda machine had some CRISPY soda. Not quite McDonalds sprite level, but enough to notice!
My husband found this place when we were visiting San Antonio. It's got a sweet, small town feel to it. Great BBQ and not full of tourists. We had the sampler platter (minus pulled pork since they were out) and a side of potato salad and creamed corn. It was a great way to try lots of things and it was all delicious - our favorites were the brisket and turkey!
This is our favorite BBQ spot In Cibolo. The staff is super kind and attentive. The bbq spot is directly downtown what looks like to be an old store, it’s super cute. The food is always hot, flavorful and delicious. Especially those collard greens. My favorite! I Dream about them in my sleep. So tasty.
I visited Harmon’s BBQ at 102 S Main St, Cibolo, TX this afternoon. At first glance, it’s everything you’d expect from a classic small-town Texas barbecue joint—rustic wood-paneled entry, a “Welcome GNOME” sign, and vintage décor like a retro Gulf gas pump and mounted bison head. Inside, the space opens up into two large dining areas filled with checkered tablecloths, sports memorabilia, and a lively family-friendly atmosphere. I ordered a tray of BBQ ribs, sliced brisket, mac and cheese, and creamed corn. The ribs were smoky and tender, with a slightly sweet bark. The brisket leaned on the leaner side, but still had a good bite. The sides were comforting and creamy, and the complimentary slice of white bread gave it that old-school touch. Unfortunately, there was an issue that affected
Definitely a must if on the NE part of San Antonio, the place was nice and definitely has some soul to it. Food was great, sausage was juicy and the potato salad was incredible. Brisket was very good, not dry at all, bread was very soft and delicious! It was definitely a good birthday dinner for myself and will come again!!!
