Fantastic experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the portions were generous. One of the best American Chinese restaurants I’ve visited—can’t wait to come back!

The worst restaurant in New York City. The food is so bad. I ordered beef but got pork belly soup. The food preparation area is very dirty. The cashier is also very rude. No wonder there was no one there when we went in. Anyone who has been here once will never go back.

⭐ 1 Star - Extremely Rude and Unwelcoming I had a terrible experience at Happy family Chinese Restaurant on 10th Avenue yesterday — and trust me, the only thing “happy” about this place is the name. The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived, so we quietly sat at a table to check the takeout menu. Within seconds, the receptionist (or whoever was at the front) came over with the most unwelcoming attitude and told us we cannot sit, cannot keep our bags anywhere, and must stand in the corner if we’re only ordering takeout. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and honestly, shocking for a place in New York City. She didn’t greet us, no “hello” or “welcome.” The first thing out of her mouth was “Takeout or having?” — no smile, no eye contact, just a cold, harsh interrogation like we were

This was the first time I discovered this place walking around the streets of New York City. I ordered Vegetable Noodle Soup. It was done perfectly. The soup made it feel so comforting and nice for the windy day to match with. All the veggies were well cooked and placed perfectly. The noodles made it to my tummy in no time. Do go for it.

The host/waitress was only nice when she wanted to be. We sat in for dining and they forgot food and messed up our order. When we would remind her she would cut you off and say "yeah, I got it". Once food was at the table she never came back to check on us. They also didnt share that their would be a service charge for paying with a card. A few days after, I checked my account and saw that charged was posted and they went an added more to the tip!!! Stay clear from here!!!!!
