Happy at the Bay Teriyaki

Really great place. Run by a Korean owner. Combo Chinese, Japanese Korean food. Kalbi is made perfectly with a nice char. Kimchi was authentic and really good. Orange chicken was tasty as well. The place is immaculately clean. Also excited that they have boba tea but didn't try it yet.

I do not know about the atmosphere as I did not pick up the order. We had four in our party and we all really liked the food. There was enough for three of us to have leftovers. Two ordered chicken teriyaki, and two of us split an orange chicken and General Tso chicken. The food was moist and delicious, the personnel there were friendly and helpful.

Happy at the Bay still has the best teriyaki, not only in Gig harbor but in the Kitsap and Pierce County area! We continue to drive from Port Orchard to this restaurant as the quality of their food and the portions they provide are more than other restaurants provide. I love that I get to order my fried rice without any vegetables, and it is custom-made for me. Please keep up the great work and awesome food!

Came around lunch time the food was amazing! Not to mention the wonderful customer service and the very funny chef. I’ve loved this place for a while and I’m glad to see that it’s still good!

We came in during dinner time. Very clean and neat atmosphere, with very generous portion & high quality food as a teriyaki restaurant. I heard this place is newly getting managed under new ownership and recipes Looks like i found my new go-to teriyaki stop!
