Our stay was very pleasant and Sandy is a gracious hostess. For breakfast she brings, the night before, an assortment of yogurt, pastries, fruit and it is varied. The rooms are decorated with Sandy's artistic creations and at every turn you are delighted to find another surprise. ||The small refrigerator and microwave are handy. There is no tv or Wi-Fi, if those are your requirements. It is within easy walking distance to town.

We don’t usually stay in B&Bs. But, the hotel choices in Sitka were not that plentiful, at least at the price we were willing to pay. When we booked with the owner, Sandy, we mentioned our early arrival, and she arranged for us to get into our room early. It was a nice room with comfortable beds. There was no A/C which would have been OK if we had had a fan. We did have some warm weather during our stay in Sitka.||||Sandy is a very nice person and a lot of fun to talk to. Her B&B is cozy. Unfortunately, some of the other homes across the street are dumps. Since we live in the country in Texas, we completely understand the situation one can have with no zoning. The icky houses did not affect our stay, and we felt safe. ||||We did not have a car and walked to every place. We did n

We were a group of 4 who stayed in both rooms at Hannahs B+B. Sandy (owner) could not have been nicer. Both rooms were very clean, nice decor, roomy and quiet. Each night Sandy would bring continental breakfast items to our room for the next morning. So our stay was very private. The walk to downtown area was about 10mins so very convenient. The B+B is in what seems to be a bit of a dicey area but not... thats just Alaska (no zoning?). Not an issue. I recommend this B+B if you visit Sitka

Hannah's is a ten minute walk from the main part of town and breakfast, left in your room the night before, is simple, but enough to get you going.||However, be prepared to be thrown back to the early 1990s once you step in the door, from the decor to the lack of Internet to payment by check or cash. The mattress and bedding have some years on them as well and could use some refreshing. The Forget-me-not room is spacious and coffee/tea is available in the room. Bring your own toiletries, specifically anything used in the shower. ||Sandy, the owner, is very friendly and a talented artist, having made the furniture in the room.
